Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said that the Israeli prison administration continues to violate the rights of Palestinian prisoners, especially the sick ones, as the occupation prisons administration deliberately neglects their serious health conditions and refrains from providing them with the necessary treatment.

In its statement, the commission stated that the Israeli occupation prisons administration deliberately ignored the serious health condition of the prisoner Mahmoud Fares, 28, from Salfit, who has been suffering from lymphoma since 2017 and underwent several surgeries and several chemotherapy sessions, the last of which was 6 months before his arrest.

The commission indicated that the prisoner's condition requires urgent medical follow-up, but the Megiddo prison administration refuses to treat him and deliberately neglects his condition, knowing that he needs to follow up on his chemotherapy sessions and nuclear scan.

It is noteworthy that the prisoner Fares was arrested several times. He was released in 2016 after spending a year and a half in Israeli prisons, then he was arrested on August 31 until now
